Guest guest
As a somehwat unguided yogi, I have spent much of my life understanding Ananda. I had never much thought about Ahlada. If I look in a dictionary, I find that >hlAd seems to refer to a cry of rejoicing. Ananda is a more dispassionate delight. AhlAda. I would suppose, is like eating ice cream, or attaining orgasm, whereas Ananda is a subtler experience, the state of knowing sat (existence) and chit (the awareness that makes the sat), and the joyful realization that they are the same. Or something like that.
