Guest guest
maNi is the term for the inner lotus of Wisdom (as in auM maNi padmai hUM), and bhUm- is certainly thr ground of being. Could not this word be philosophical rather than descriptive? ____________________ Post your free ad now! http://personals..ca

But I can't see how the word could have such a meaning in the context of the citrasuutra. Unless the whole text is a philosophical allegory and not the technical treatise that it is taken to be! But I am unaware of any tradition of reading it in this light. P. Ernest
