CSX+ reported problems

Dear list members,

 

On the Academic Indology list there were some postings regarding

incompatabilities between the CSX+ fonts and newer versions of WINDOWS and

WORD.

 

I've been using these fonts for quite a while on windows 2000 and windows xp

(english and sanskrit only). I don't use the critical slots mentioned of:

#128, #129, #141, #142, #143, #144, #149, #157, #158, #183.

 

As long as these characters aren't used is there any reason to convert to

the newer URW font?
