That's only in "big" temples - mostly Shiva temples manned by

Sivaachaaryaas. But there're thousands of small Amman temples manned

by non-brahmins in TN, which have little to do with Shiva.

That's only in the classical literary form and does not negate the

autonomous status of Amman worship in TN. In most small Amman temples

Shiva has no presence.
