There is also "Tajmahal and The Great British Conspiracy," by

V.S. Godbole (337pp Thane, India: Itihas Patrika Prakashan, 1996).

I haven't been able to totally analyze the second site, which has a

theory also of a worldwide Vedic civilization. But why does the Taj

resemble so closely then buildings constructed by the ancestors of

the Moghuls in Samarkand centuries earlier?

Also, what types of similar architecture existed earlier in India?

It doesn't look like Nagari or Dravida. Are they saying the present

structure was built over (covers) a prexisting one.

The dome was probably adapted from the stupa, but that would have

been long before Shah Jehan's time.

Ok, after reading a bit more, I think Stephen Knapp is suggesting

even the Samarkand structures are originally "Vedic."
