Prof. M. Witzel mentions Uttarakuru in his paper on Kashmiri brahmins,

I started the Indology thread. Someone stated that Uttarakuru was

the 'original home' of the 'Aryans.'

 

The same idea appears in the Theosophist works. Can't remember off-

hand where it comes from.
