It is found at the beginning of some manuscripts of Yogabhaa.sya (usually ascribed to Vyaasa). As the relatively older commentaries of Vaacaspati-mi;sra and ;Saµkara do not comment on it, it is unlikely to be an original part of the Yogabhaa.sya. Its better/correct readings are given below. a.a.
