Strabo references

Strabo refers to an embassy of Pandion to Caesar. Are there any references

to this in Sangam literature.

 

Strabo also refers to a river Cophes, could it be Cauvery? Who was the

Indian who self immolated himself? Incidents of self immolation happen even

today in Tamilnadu (e.g., death of MGR triggered some).

 

Are there references in Greek/Roman literature to Indian/Tamil settlements?
