The Sankethi community

I am referring to a small Brahmin community mainly settled in the

south of India in the state of Karnataka. The community has

two "factions" , the Bettadapura and the Kowshika Sankethis.

 

I belong to the Bettadapura Sankethi community. I would request

members to send me material or links to any research articles

published on this community to the undersigned. I and my wife had

started developing a website at Sankethi.com for the benefit of this

dwindling community, aimed at educating the youngsters of their rich

heritage.
