| At Har-ki-Doon (Plaksa Parsavana I guess)in the state of

| Uttarachal, there is a temple dedicated to Duryodhana. There is a

| Duryodhana temple in Malanad in Kerala too.

It is signifiacnt that in the Bharata battle there was greater numerical

support for Duryodhana than for the Pandavas. Also Krishna had no difficulty

in letting his own force join the Kauravas.Equally interestingly, Balarama

obviously felt his neutrality to be quite natural.

I've always felt sad that the Holzmanns' inversion theory didn't survive.

Equally interestingly, Balarama

Yes, Balarama's indignation at Krsna when Duryodhana dies is one of those

passages where the epic's ambivalence towards Krsna's divinity is most

striking. Similar is the tirade of Sisupala, Duryodhana's hilarious failure

to be impressed by Krsna's theophany, and his deathbed denunciation, which

parallels that of Balin.
