Even though shunyam and poornam are just opposite to each other in modern etymology, but shunyam is poorna of shoonyata. what cant we try to interrelate all phlosophical school to understand what our ancestors were thinking and what can be learn from them. I think the term Sunya is used by the Saiva-Agamas and the term Sunyata is used by the Buddhists, but are these just two different terms for "void" or are these terms indicating different philosophical concepts? I vaguely remember that there was a scholar from the South who was working on this problem a few years ago, chap by the name of Adi Sankara or something. But I seem to have lost his email.
