Guest guest Posted September 6, 2003 Report Share Posted September 6, 2003 In the process of developing a program in Java which recognizes the meter of a Sanskrit verse when a cycle of the verse is input in Roman script, I was surprized to find that the ubiquitous 'anuShTup' of classical Sanskrit is inadequately characterized in works of Sanskrit Prosody.My work in this matter has been accepted for publication in the next issue of Annals of Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute.Those interested in this area of study may get in touch with me.
