I should have been more careful and stated "Aryan Invasion" theory (in quotes) instead of simply Aryan Invasion. Having said that, it is evident that the "migration" most likely happened from a position of power and dominance if the migrants were to integrate themselves more with the "upper castes" than the lower ones.
