Dear Vidya

I am thanking for your information. In Sangiitaratnaakara, we can see the

following correspondence:

sadyojaata => naagabandha

vaamadeva => svastika

aghora => alagna

tatpuruSa => zuddhi

iizaana => samaskhalita

Among the above paaTa, naagbandha and svastika are concretely describedin

Paarzvadeva's Sangiitasamayasaara,

which would be junior contemporary. The svastika is in 6. 91 and 92ab, and

the naagabandha in 6. 95 and 96ab

For example, svastika is as follows

tho thoM thoM nakiTenaapi kaTataTyaasamanvitaH/

ekatra svastikaakaarakaraabhyaaM svastiko bhavet// 91

yathaa thonakiTa kiTataka, thonakiTatakkiTa, takkiTa takkiTa,

thonakiTathonakiTa,

tho thoM kiTataka, thonakiTakiTakiTa, taki tho thoM kiTa, tatthoM thoM thoM,

thoMkiTatakithoM, thonakiTakiTataka, thonakiTakiTataki, thonakiTakiTataki,

thonakiTakiTataki

yatra SoDaza maatraabhir yukto 'yaM svasthiko bhavet/92ab

According to Bharatakoza, svastika is said to be described in Sangiitaraaja

(might be in unpublished part).

Besides there are some notes on Sangiitaratnakara. It, however, might not

clarify our question.

Of course, I will investigate the more concrete musical image of these paaTa.

Thank you
