Guest guest
Anybody heard of the "kUTa-kArSApaNa" ("counterfeit money") nyAya? Is there any collection, other than Apte's dictionary, of these proverbial nyAyas? Are these nyAyas from any one source, or can one conceivably make them up as one goes along? (e.g. "haMsa-rava-nyAya" = "If it quacks like a duck, it must be a duck.") The context here is "dhUrtA AbhIra-vadhUs tayA pratAritA kUTa-kArSApaNa-nyAyena sva-kAmasyaiva prematva-khyApanayA vaJcitA matir yasya" (glossing the vocative compound "dhUrtAbhIra-vadhU-pratArita-mate") Jan Get better spam protection with Mail. http://antispam./tools
