Guest guest
Dear list members, 1. Coulson's book on Sanskrit says that the relative pronoun must agree with its antecedent in number, gender and person. Is it wrong to have a construction like this where the relative pronoun and its antecedent don't agree in gender. yAm mudrAm tad vastv Anaya | Bring that thing which is a coin. 2. What would be the best way in Sanskrit to say something like: "Go to Hastinapuri, a great city!" Would you normally use a relative clause or an adjective phrase in apposition?
