Guest guest
H.N.Sreenivasa Murthy Pranams to you all. Uniqueness Of Avastharaya Prakriya or methodology. Quote: The story of a man's life may be summed up briefly in these words: He sleeps, dreams and wakes. His whole life is repetition of these states. This fact is so simple and obvious that it may not be considered worthy of any significance. Yet Vedanta builds upon it its system of TRUTH and REALITY. IF TRUTH IS TO BE ATTAINED AND REALITY COMPREHENDED IT CAN BE ONLY BY A STUDY OF LIFE UNFOLDING IN THESE ASPECTS. They are the three, great gateways of knowledge. THERE IS NONE OTHER. * ** * The path of Self-Knowledge advocated in this methodology does not require any power of reasoning other than that possessed by the ordinary man; no intellectual gymnastic or involvement in technicalities of logic is demanded of the aspirant. The procedure followed is based on the common experience of all mankind and does not require any 'suprarational organon' as claimed by some who are fond of modern high-sunding jargons which serve only to surround the CLEAR PATH OF SELF-KNOWLEDGE with mysteries blocking the vision of the seeker. The simple Truth set forth merely requires in the seeker a change of mental attitude and no laborious study or deep erudition. There is no dogma to be accepted or obtruse doctrine to be assimilated. a PURE INTROSPECTION, on the basis of the Vedantic suggestions, a simple grasp of the essential principle, realized as the SELF in man emerging unsullied through all the changes in the psychosomatic mechanism and through one's states, viz., waking, dream and deep sleep states, is all that is necessary to recognize this immortal element in him. Without tasking the memory or straining the imagination, every human being can rise, IF HE WILLS, to an understanding of this simple Truth. Unquote. In the succeeding postings this unique method of Vedanta will be detailed.
