contd..
So we have to admit that every desire

which we think of our own ego's decision is in fact

forced on us by the Universal system. Our desire will be

called free, when it will coincide with the desire of

the Excellent and will not be checked by any

boundaries. Then how to get that independence

??

Our desire can only be called a free will if it is

not checked by the universal energies and by its

gunas as also not by time and space. But the ego that

desires is himself not an independent entity, hence no

desire can be a free desire if it is emanating from the

ego. Then how to desire like the omnipotent ? Well to

begin with we have to first analyse our desires and

divide them into three groups. The first group of

desires will be the one, which is just to fulfil the

needs of the body and Prana, The second group would

include those desires which are to nourish the Ego and

the third group of desires will be the one which are

imposed on us by the system to get some of its latent

goals.

First we should analyse the desire which are to fulfil

the needs of the body and Prana. There is no need to

stop/check these desires. We have to only separate our ego

from these desires, by recoganising them and taking

them as Not My desires. Just by this separation we

would feel quite light as the biggest chunk of our

desires has been taken away from our ego and now we can

comfortably analyse the other two groups.

The second

group will consist of those desires which are just to

fulfil our ego. These may come as vrittis to gain fame,

money, violence romance etc. Then we may analyse them

according to their gunas and allow only the desires which

are Satoguni (Constructive and harmless) in nature

and dismiss the others. As long as we are bound by

the nature we have to take help of one of the three

gunas then why not Satoguna which will remove darkness

from our presence. These desires will further produce

vrittis of Sat and we will progress fast.

Now we

are left with those desires which are forced on us by

Nature for her latent goals but we by mere disillusion

treat them our desires, mix them with our prevailing

gunas and creat havoc with our deeds.

If we have

succeded in checking the first two groups, then we need

not worry from this third group. Latent desires of

Nature are normally to continue the life hence may come

as sex-vrittis. For some destruction, these may come

as a violent vrittis. BUT to desire for God is also

such a latent desire of the nature which may awaken in

us.

Moth Nature does not force this desire of God, by

random selection. Our ego is not in a position in the

Universe to attract the attention of Mother nature or God.

Desiring for God is a pre-planned task of the Mother

Nature which can be awakened in any ego which has purged

his desires and well understood the meaning of his

being. An example (By R.N.Tagore) will clarify it. In a

jungle there are many pits which are filled with water.

The sun will be reflected from all the pits, but

those pits which have clear water will emit clear image

of the Sun.

If our Anthakarna is clear. If

our Three gunas are in our control, if our Budhhi can

distinguish between desires then this tender plant of God's

love will automatically come out of our Anthakarna.

Neither Mother Nature has been extra kind to us nor can

we bless our ego for this desire. If this desire has

born, we have to recoganise its source and reasons and

the desires which will oppose it. Develop the desires

which water this tender plant of God's love and stop

the desires that oppose or check the growth of this

tender plant. A day will come when this tender plant

will grow a big tree with flowers of fragrance and

will bear fruits of Independence and

Mukti!

This is actual Sadhna, which will bring actual

independence and actual Mukti !!!!

Hari Om Tat
