Guest guest
HOW TO AWAKEN KUNDALINI: There are practically two different categories to awaken Kundalini viz. Direct path and indirect Path.

Direct Paths: some sadhnas like Siddha Yoga, Hathh Yoga, Raaj yoga, Kriya Yoga, Tantra, witch-craft work directly on Kundalini and force it open. These paths have been kept secret by its follower for obvious reasons….because Kundalini is like Atomic power and it can be put to Good use or bad use.
Moreover the direct paths have its dangers and should never be practiced by reading from books or listening from somebody. ONLY a well qualified Guru can tell us how to go for them….If done wrongly …the direct paths can lead to serious illness, mental imbalance or even death……so all those who are trying to do direct path without proper guidance should stop it immediately.

Indirect path : These are more acceptable paths and can be done without proper guidance or guru. Most of the Vedic Paths, Karma yoga, Gyana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Vipasana, yoga Nidra and simple Mantra chanting (Saguna mantra) are the indirect paths and lead to awakening of Kundalini, though in a very slow manner. A seeker of direct path may awaken Kundalini in 3 years….and a bhakta may get it 3 births but the seeker by direct path is always in danger and a seeker of indirect path is always safe….beacuase in his case the Kundalini itlself first purifies him and then advances ruling out any chance of misuse.

In either case, the Kundalini leaves its seat in Muladhara and rises above….but its rise is not permanent till it reachs Heart Chakra…. If it has reached Heart chakra it rests there and makes her journey above from there….below heart chakra it may fall back to muladhara again….

we can discuss now various aspects of Kundalini Shakti

love and peace

silentsoul
___\ __________
concluded
Om Namah shivaye

Guest guest
Om Tat sat...

Here is a repost from another club that may be of use in reference to the present topic.

This is quoted from Sri Sir Bhramanshaktiji, a Tantric adept concerning the Kundalini Shakti and Samadhi:
**************************************************
Om tat sat

Today I write to you about certain things that are looked for in Tantra by people who have not understood it. I am not even talking about thinking in the correct direction and far less practicing it.

One has to note that the path is a huge one and all and there is place for all in the path, but one has to also remember that no long lasting result can be expected unless and until the goal is firmed up and one is able to understand where one has to reach. It is only then that the effort can be made in the right direction otherwise all efforts are made to vain and nothing whatsoever is achieved.

Now meditation is for people who have qualified themselves for it.

The path requires a person to slowly purify themselves before meditation can even be attempted. Sitting quietly in a corner and not making anoise for hours is not meditation.
even praying is not meditation. nor is repeating the name of the God. - Japa. Neither is.

So what is loosely termed as meditation is only when the mind has reached a high degree of calmness. This is possible, in Tantric terms when the person is well established in the Veera stage (the heroic stage. And when the Kundalini has come up to the anahata chakra. It is not what is called the opening of the chakra - as understood by people alone that is important. The kundalini will rise for such a person the moment the person sits down to meditate and come up to the anahata chakra. At this place the chakra will stabilise and hold on for a while and this is the phase called the or doorway to meditation. The next stage comes when the kundalini will rise higher to the visudha chakra. This happens if the person is able to steady the mind for certain moments of time in the anahata chakra. At this time the
person will be able to hold the mind steady like a lamp for more than certain moments of time and will attempt more.

If the mind is held steady certain multiples of these moments then the chakra will ascend to the anjana chakra. Here the mind has to be held steady for as 11 such multiples of time and then alone samadhi is reached. the first taste of samadhi will itself liberate the person, even when the body is there. If this Samadhi is held on for a long period of time Nirvikalpa Samadhi is reached. After Nirvikalpa samadhi, the individual will no longer exist and what will last will be God himself.

Jai Mahakali
*************************************************
