Guest guest
srigants repost cont'd
------------------

If we do Bagavath Bakthy or divine love, we will automatically love all other creatures as our "bothers & isters"!! One of the Tamil saints,
Ramalinga Adikalar says that, his hearts, burns just by seeing a dried plant!!! Such is the greatness of compassion or love. Love is also called "Karunyam" or "Premam" in Sanskrit.

Discussion on love would be incomplete without mentioning about Srimath Bagavatham. Veda Vyasa wrote 1008 Puranas. But, his heart was not satisfied. So, he asked the reason to Narada. Narada said that, he did not write a Purana which describes Prema Bakthy. So, he narrates Srimath Bagavatham to his son Suka Bhramham, who is a great gnani & sits on the Pushpa banam or the flower bow of Matha ji. Suka is actually a parrot-faced man, & is one among the acharyas of Advaitham. Then, when Parikshith Maharaja, built a fort in the middle of the ocean inorder to avoid death from snakes, Suka narrates the whole of Srimath Bagavatham in seven days & Parikshith attains mukthy, just on hearing the glores of the
Prema bakthy of Gopikas. This tradition is called "Bagavatha Sapthaham" & is followed upto this date in South. The lives of great saints like, Thyagaraja are based on the principles of Srimath Bagavatha. Such people are called Bagavathas or those who sing the glories of Sri Krishna. In Guruvayoor temple, Lord is pleased only by chanting Srimath Bagavatham. Narayana Bhattathiri, who was a great Sanskrit scholar, wrote the whole Bagavatham in simple Sanskrit in a literal work called "Narayaneeyam".

While writing the leelas of Sri Krishna, he had a doubt whether, Krishna might have done the Kalinga Nardhana Leela at the age of eight. To clear his doubts, Sri Krishna performed the dance on Kalinga snake inside the temple premises. Also, after writing the whole book, he got "Vaikunta Darshanam" inside the temple. Same was the case with OOthukadu Venkata Subbiyer, who wrote the whole of Srimath Bagavatham, as simple, sweet tamil songs. His song, "Alai PAyuthe" in Kanada ragam is really wonderful. He has also seen Kalinga Nardhanam inside the temple premises of OOthukadu ,a small village near Tanjore.

Srimath Bagavatham is Sri Krishna himself & it's not a book or script as we see in other religions.

Leelas of Sri Krishna & the prema bakthy of Gopikas for Sri Krishna are sweet for ever. So, only Upanisha Bhramhendra sings, "Hasitham MAdhuram Vadhanm Madhuram... Mathuradipathe Akilam MAdhuram" meaning: Sri Krishna's smiling is sweet, & all the aspects of the King of Mathura are very very sweet!!!

Thiru Moolar says that, love is God & love is Shivam.

Let's love all the creatures & find light in Divine Love.

!!!!!!!Gopika Jeevana Smaranam Govinda Govinda !!!!!!!!!

srigant
