Guest guest
Om Guruvay Namah

Here is a thought came to me while meditating. I would like to share with learned members

If somebody wants to cross a river, he has two choices:-
1. Go along the shores, reach the origin and come back to the opposite end.
2. Have a boat and cross the river.

If way number one is chosen, one has to face a lot of difficulties, a lot of time is required and there is a chance of even not getting to the destination during the span of life.

Therefore, the 2nd choice is better.

To cross this Bhav-Sagar (The world) and reach GOD, we have two similar choices.
One, take the first path, avoid the world and become Sanyasi. Ignoring all the creations and worldly things. But beware, there will be a lot of troubles, difficulties which one will have to face. It is not easy to travel along the sides of a river to its origin.

Second, take the 2nd path. In this path, we will not find a boat made of wood. We find a boat made of 5 elements, our body. And our row (the boat can not move without a row) will the name of GOD. Having these two, we can jump into the Bhav-Sagar (the world) and with continuous Jap of name of God (any name of our choice, be it Shiva, Durga, Vishnu, etc.) will give the required energy to reach destination. The Jap will save us from the whirlpools (of all bad things i.e. lust, greed, anger, etc.) in the ocean and will safely take us to the other end where rests the ending source of love and joy and light and Jnan, the Supreme God.

Om Durgay Namah

Pradeep
