Guest guest
There is a mistake in taking away from God something that we have, that is, will. If a god can be limited, than He is not God, but instead god and subject to being replaced by another more capable god. If we are all 'gods' a god that can be fired for a more capable one has much to worry about.

We can not confuse will with control. Will is wanting a certain action to take place. "I will kill you!!!!" But despite our interests and best intents, things do not always turn out as we plan,(the poison does not work to specification, the police intervene, etc.) So, why isnt this guy dead? We willed it!? The answer is, despite our will, we are not the supreme controller. There are other forces at work besides the force we exert. This is yet another reason to believe that we are not God. What do we really control outside ourselves? Nothing! Nichts! Nada!

You can fight God all you like! It is a waste of time because TIME is on God's side. So instead, take a small experiment and subject yourself to the Will of God. See if anything changes. There is the path of least resistance and infinite rewards.

>:*)
Guest guest
You are right. You are not God, if you want to think so. Your ego is surely not God. But doesn't "even" the Vedas say that there is no difference between jiva and paraatma and that your soul is God's soul.
If you want to deny it and say: "No, I'm the ego, I'm not God." then you may do it and - on top of everything - are right.
But when you want to say: "I'm soul, I'm Paraatma, I'm the supreme consciousness," then you are right as well.

If you want to limit yourself, then please do so. God will not interfere, believe me :-)

Lucideye
