RE: Free Will

Our Free will is limited to

a simple choice available at ever moment.
Either our false ego surrenders and we submit to the

God’s divine authority, or we don’t. If we choose the

former, Krishna intercedes as he clearly states:

buddhi-yogam tam yena mam upayanti te
“To those who are

constantly devoted to serving Me with love, I give the

understanding by which they can come to Me.” – Bg.

10.10

If we do not surrender, then the modes of nature

take over and we are “Forced to act helplessly” bound

up by them.

na hi kascit ksanam api jatu

helplessly according to the qualities he has acquired from

the modes of material nature; therefore no one can

refrain from doing something, not even for a

moment.
Bg. 3.5

The choice is ours at every moment.

It's actually very simple. Surrender or be trapped by

illusion.

mayesvara dasa
