Guest guest
shriman silent soul ji, sadar pranams -thanks for the two illuminating posts on sadhna and satsang.

maa (this one=I) LUVED THE analogy of cloth while describing the Diffrent paths to God realization. You are indeed the master "WeAVER" OF STORIES JUST LIKE our mystic sufi poet kabir- to explain great mystical truths with the help of simple daily truths is a great art and maa really enjoys these analogies a lot- in this context, maa was reminded of that great poem by kabir where he compares ths body to a Chaddar or a garment -"ye jini jini chadriya......"

yes, all sadhna lead to god realization - sri ramakrishna was externally a great bhakta and internally a supreme gnani but he retained the "ego of devotion" to the divine mother kali just
so he could be in the satsang of the devotees as well as impart teaching to those who are seeking god realization- there are many gnais who once they reach nirvikalpa samadhi rarely come down to body conscousness- but, our ramakrishna paramahmsa could get in and out of samadhi so skillfully just like a actor changing costU/mes-such was his LEELA!

AS FAR AS brahmavadi adi shankara is concerned ( sri shankarawas not a MAYAVADI) , HE WAS OUTWARDLY A GNANI AND INWARDLY A PARA BHAKTA- as is evident from the numerous bhakti hymns he composed on the divine mother and othe deities.

gnana and bhakti are the two spiritual eyes- bhakti helps us to have "visions" and gnana helps us to "expeience" those visons. they are complimentary not competitive -

today is thursday- guruvar- a good day to remember the guru-

maa leaves you with a kabir verse-

THERE IS NO RELATIVE CLOSER THAN THE SATGURU
NO BOUNTY EQUAL TO SPIRITUAL AWAKENING
THERE IS NO BENEFACTOR THAN HARI
NO COMMUNTY EQUAL TO THAT OF HARI'S DEVOTEES.

THANKS, SHIV OHAM FOR SAADHNA-TWO AND THANKS SILENT SOULJI FOR YOUR CONTINUED GUIDANCE AND ILLUMINATING POSTS,

ALSO, THANKS FOR THE CLUB PIC- SADHNASOUNDS SWEET IN EVERY LANGUAGE- SADHNA IS THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE -THE LANGUAGEOF THE HEART

LOVE, MAA

**************************************************

MAA IS HAPPY TO NOTE DREAMY HAS REJOINED OUR SATSANG AND WE HOPE SHE WILL SHARE WITH US HER BEAUTIFUL POEMS.

MAA
