No discussion ?<br><br>The silence and the

embarassment,<br><br>the vanity of 'education' !<br><br>Why hesitate due

to decency<br><br>why not call a spade a

spade<br><br>A saadhaka afraid to stand upright intends to find

the truth about himself ?<br><br>Ironical, isn't it?

Dear friend,<br>Do we need to discuss this? It is

part of history, something which has happened a long

time back. Will picking up a spade change history or

change people's ideas.<br>What I feel is, we take these

instances as Maya (illusions) and try to make our Saadhana

stronger by ignoring these.<br><br>This again is my

personal opinion.

dear baburoyji<br><br>but doesn't putting history

in the right perspective help in sadhna,<br>after

all, what we believe in is what we are<br><br>atleast

let us be open to the idea that maybe politics of

vested interests has misled a vast majority of indians

by hiding a lot of facts.<br>Would advise reading

the history rewritten under the heading of " Aryan

invasion etc..." in the link I provided.

Politics and God realization really do not go

together. i recall a quote by Lord Jesus, "Render to Caesar

what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to

God." This means to fight politics from within politics

if that is your goal. However, politics has no place

in understanding self and God. <br><br>om tat

Looks like founders of this club have no time to

reply to Saraswati chandra. Since I am an old member of

this club i would like to say something.<br><br> I

went to both the sites you suggested and found them to

be very useful. In fact I have circulated them to

all my friends. Burning of our sacred books and

destroying historical monuments in the name of Islam is more

appreciated by so called secular (read coward)Hindus. The

verses of Kuran mentioned in your site are a proof that

Muslims are not at fault, their religion teaches them

this.<br><br> In Bhagwat Gita club, one Muslim tried to malign

Hinduism and I reacted, and my Hindu brothers rebuked me

(not that muslim for disturbing our peace), and poor

silentsoul was abused for the posts I wrote. I left all

clubs after that and vowed to be in Sadhna for

ever.<br><br> BUT I as Hindu will request you, not to disturb

the peace of this club with this discussion, as this

discussion has no end. We are discussing here Sadhna and all

may like to stick to it.<br><br> My very sincere

suggestion is that you may start a club specially for this

subject (As hundereds of anti-Hindu sites started by

Pakistanis). I am sure many members from this club and other

clubs will participate. <br><br> Each club has a soul

subject of its own, and its identity should be left

intact.

Dear family....<br><br>The founders do have the

time .. they don't like to give importance to such

issues. Besides several members have already replied and

they have represented the views of the family

well.<br><br>It is time however for us to say something too.

<br><br>Throughout history there have been many atrocities committed

by many in power all over the world. Most educated

people are aware of it. History has happened. And it

saddens all when they read about it no matter where or to

whom it has happened. <br><br>To a sadhak however

nothing happens without the knowledge of the Supreme

Consciouness. Absolutely nothing!! The question is not what has

happened but what are we doing now. And yes awareness of

circumstances is important for that .. but sitting and

indulging in blame and hatred is not. <br><br>In our sadhna

we look at how can one best address such low forms

of energy from the levels of consciousness gained by

our sadhna today. Indulging in information that

repeats , inflamatory and hateful information only hurts

those who spend time basking in it. What is important

is to make sure that the light within us is so

strong that no negativity can touch us; that no one is

able to force us to live and act below our achieved

levels of love and compassion and conscious living. We

cannot transform anyone else .. we can only transmute

our own negativites. "An eye for an eye makes us all

blind."<br><br>It is the collective negavity that manifests in the

world. It is therefore our collective responsibility to

remove such negavity within oursleves. Otherwise there

will always be a Hitler or a cruel conqueror who will

represent that collective monster.<br><br>In fact to a

sadhak like me whose spiritual paradigm is "the world is

as you are" it is an opportunity to chisel away from

within myself, a little more of the irritation, anger,

resentment, envy and any other such kleshas that I may have.

<br><br>Self defence needs awareness and understanding of our

own weaknesses. We need to reflect on our beliefs and

make sure we take actions that keep us centered in the

power of who "Our True Self" to raise our vibrations to

a place where anything less doesn't touch

us.<br><br>If a dog bites us we dont have to bite them back.

<br><br>There are many clubs here with members and founders who

indulge in hate, and spiteful behavior both on and off

public posts. Let "birds of a feather flock together".

The role of sadhaks is to practice a way that is

congruent with their talk. Here in sadhana club our focus

repeatedly is .. "walk the talk"; practice the love and

comapssion and a higher level of intelligence (one that is

based on a connection with the Supreme intelligence)

that is the principle behind consious sadhna.

Dear vinodji and gypsyji,<br>I think, I see your

point and apologise for the 'disturbance' that I may

have caused. It is as you said that an "educated"

hindu prides himself in taking things lying down and

there is a heavy need of rajas tattva in our veins.

Sometimes this habit of inactivity eats into our personal

lives also thus affecting our sadhna, hope that all

esteemed members would see this brief interlude in this

light and use it for their own benefit.<br><br>In

respect to all your sentiments, will not further post on

such agitating topics to peace-seekers.<br>(Hope you

won't mind my posts on issues related to sadhna in the

future)<br><br>Sorry again and good bye

Dear Saraswati chandra there is no need to

apologise, as you have not done any crime. What you tried to

tell is 100% correct (only in a wrong forum). I wait

to listen from you on Sadhna.<br><br> When did

Tatwamasi change her name from UMA to KAPILA ?<br><br>:)

:)<br><br>I didn't .,. when I quote I take no

credit! not even for cutting and pasting!!!!! I only

bring it to your notice for discussion and dialogue. As

you may have noticed words have little meaning to me

unless they can be applied in our

lives!!!<br><br>:))<br><br>UMA

Dear Saraswati-chandra:<br><br>I've been out of

country for two weeks and find it impossible to read all

the postings in this Club. However, I did notice

yours and clicked on<br>the websites you

recommended.<br><br>These contained the information I've been looking

for...thank you. My purpose in this Club is<br>not to

dissent, argue obscure points of religion or anything but

learn about Hinduism. The sites you mentioned also

teach about Islam...a religion<br>I was shying away

from ,as the fanatics in that<br>faith seem to be

imposing their beliefs on everyone and, if not accepted,

killing them!<br>One can better deal with happenings if

one acquires understanding. I wouldn't want to

become<br>prejudiced against Muslims due to having a jaded Western

view of the practices of the dark ones in their

midst.<br><br>Again, thank you.<br><br>Namaste,<br><br>blueraybird
