Guest guest
Gaudiya Vaishnava and Hare Krishna people are they same or different. I think both take shri Krishna as supreme Brahma. Is there a difference of opinion among them?

kajol
Guest guest
My dearest Kanman!
This is more of a management question than a spiritual one. The term Gaudiya means someone from the region of Bengal and is now associacted with vaishnavs of the Sri Caitanya bhakti movement. i am an initiated gaudiya vaishnavi, but not a member of Iskcon. My relationship however is one of godbrother/sister because their guru and my guru are from the same sampradaya, that is, sharing the same guruji Srimad Bhaktisiddhanta Maharaja.

Yes, there are some differences of opinion in areas of proceedure and management, but they both share the same goal of going back to Godhead through the continuous worship of Sri Sri Radha Krsna. Also the financial base of Iskcon is considerably larger than that of the other gaudiya maths.

My math is the Sri Gopinatha Gaudiya Math which has ashrams in S. America, the US, Russia, and India. The current Acharya now is Sripad B.B. Bodhayan Maharaja who continues the work of our merciful Guru Sripad B.P. Puri Maharaha who is now in Mahasamadhi at his beloved Math in Mayapur India.

i hope this helps.
om tat sat

>:*)
