Guest guest
(from prev.post)
This God, since HE knows the whole nature and all souls, will act on any prayer which is according to its manifestation.
He may grant a prayer or refuse. The fault is not in God but in the Jiva and its desires. God having a universal view is busy in his manifestation. If a fool cries on the road that there is nothing like God, it does not affect him. He does not close doors for sinners and non-believers, because it is finally he himself sitting in the centre of their hearts enjoying his manifestations and its actions and reactions. Similarly if someone prays him and goes to temples etc. God does not give him special favours. Sin and virtues, richness and poverty, happiness and sorrows, illness and health life and death are not the qualities of God. These are the qualities of "Ahamkara" or ego and every ego while getting result of its Karma is advancing towards Truth. If a near and dear is ill many pray for his life, and if there is a great sinner, many pray for his death, but here the prayer does not work, as life and death will be as per the Karma of individual. God is not present to take part in our personal enemities or friendships.

Had God wished to control these things, the greatest incarnation of God Sri Krishan would not have taken birth in the Jail. Dropadi should not have been insulted in the public, the Mahabharata war should not have taken place. While preaching Gita Shri Krishan no where said to Arjuna that I will fight for you, or I will take away your sorrows or to leave this war etc. and go home or to become Sanyasi. If the relative and friends of God's greatest incarnation had to suffer the rule of Karma, what is our position ?

So instead of praying for useless things we should only pray for our spiritual enlightenment.

Should we then think that Prayers are fruitless ? No all prayers are not fruitless. There is one prayer which is certainly listened and acted upon by God and that is the prayer for spiritual enlightenment. If some soul, whatever is his intelligence level, prays for the spiritual enlightenment or having God's vision, God immediately acts on that because that is the ultimate aim of his manifestation !

Some people though have a deformed view of this idea. They believe that since every thing is done by God, what they do is done by God and they are not to be blamed. We must remember here that ego of a body is not the ego of the God. God's ego is the sum total of all the egos in the world, be it ego of a tiny plant, amoeba or President of America. Smaller ego's work can be called God's work, if it is for the manifestation of God himself.
