Have you lost your wife?"
The baba laughed and said, "Lali, I never had a wife."
"I see, so you weep because you have no one whom you can regard as your own?" said Radha in a tone of deep sympathy.
Baba said grievously, "No lali, I weep because those who are mine have forgotten me."
"Who are they babaji?"
"Lali you do not know. One of them is the heartless son of Nanda, who always tempts and tantalizes but never shows himself and the other..Oh what shall I say about Her, Lali? The other is Radha, who also has become heartless in His company."

Radha felt grieveously hurt in the tendermost corner of Her heart. "Me, Me, heartless?!?!" She burst out. Then trying to conceal Herself said, "Baba! My name is also Radha. Tell me what you want."
"What should I say Lali? What can I want except their darshana."
"Silly Baba!! You have no eyes, how can you see them??"
"Lali, you are the silly one, not me. I will get back my sight as soon as they touch my eyes with their lotus hands."

Unable to restrain Herself, Radha touched one eye with her lotus hand and Krsna touched the other. Imemdiately baba's eyesight was restored and he saw both Radha and Krsna standing before him. The baba immediately lost consciousness and lay there the entire night. He was later discovered by pilgrims and brought around. But now he cried more than ever because separation is more painful after the meeting than separation before it. Unable to bear this a moment longer he left his body to join Radha Krsna in transendental Vrindavan.

cont.
