I am not sure but when I was reading a copy of

the Valmiki Ramayana, I thought these may be two

other differences. <br>The original Valmiki Ramayana

seems to have ended with Yudha Kanda, the Uttara Kanda

was added later. The Ramayana of Valmiki (maybe

because it was written by Valmiki himself), does not

mention the story of Ratnakara, teh dacoit who became a

great bhakta. Also, no where do I find any reference to

the ancestors of Rama like Kalidasa mentions, nor do

I find stories like the birth of Ganga there in the

Valmiki Ramayana.
