Guest guest
Dear Vinodji

We have the choice of dealing with negativity in many ways. We can choose to keep our head in the sand like the ostrich and pretend it doesn't exist hoping it will walk away or we can go down to the level of the negativity and fight in the language of the offender.

We can also choose to tune our actions with our sadhna and the lessons our practice brings to us. We can turn such occasions into learning opportunities, making sure that we don't in any way support or encourage and propagate such behavior directly or indirectly. There are plenty of important practical issues to learn about - how should sadhaks handle negativity in general, what is it that makes us angry with negativity, why we get frustrated with negativity, how not to behave etc etc.

This last option is the one we continue to propose.

So lets move on and do join us in our discussion of the various topics that are going on keeping it in the spirit of our clubs mission ... lets continue our saadhanaa.

Peace to you

Tat twam asi
UMA
Guest guest
Dear Cary

No one can stop an individual from acting out a negative emotion. What we CAN do is find, propose and encourage ways to deal with them that are in tune with our saadhna.

Personally, walking the talk is part of my . Perhaps the greatest part of it. If we can practice dealing with lower energies in a spiritually sensitive manner in a small family of sadhaks like this, perhaps we can also learn to transfer such practice into our lives with ripple effects into the community and world.

Isn't it time sadhaks came together in the common goal of modeling ways to deal with difficult situations that are based on the paradigm of tough but loving kindness?

Much love

Your friend

UMA
