Guest guest
Kalpana,
To try and judge Rama because of one single action is wrong. To try and see what and why he did it, we need to go back and see what the times and culture of the people was in those days.
A king was the father figure. He looked upon his subjects as his children, the people looked upon him as their father.
Teh story goes that a washerman's wife had stayed outside her house for a night and the washerman had refused to take her in. The washerman had then gone and started saying that I AM NOT RAMA, RAMA TOOK BACK HIS WIFE EVEN THOUGH SHE STAYED IN SOMEONE ELSE'S HOUSE FOR MONTHS (Referring to Ravana's kidnapping of Sita). When people started agreeing and started talking, Rama had to decide. Should he look for his own happiness or towards the happiness of the many others. So with a very heavy heart he told Lakshmana to leave Sita in the forest. And not for one day after that, was Rama happy.

Just because you have had to deal with a bad Hindu does not mean all Hindus are bad. Well, isnt 18 too young to be 8 months pregnant anyway? And what if the father of your child was a Christian, a Sikh or a Moslem - would all Christians, Sikhs and Moslems have been bad.
It is very wrong to judge people, a community or a religion because of one single person's actions. Guest guest
Dear Kalpana

Wow kalpana.. not only do you have to deal with your parents divorce, you have an even bigger heartache to deal with. Not surprising you are so full of sadness.

At 8 months of pregnancy you have to take good care of yourself and your baby who needs you very much. Hating everyone, even if you feel you have reason to will only hurt yourself. Hate creates stress within the body, and stress has its own repurcussions in the endrocrine system hurting both you and your baby.

Focus on your love for the baby, listen to beautiful music, and let God take care of the rest. We have no conrol over other people, but we do have control over ourselves. Go ahead and try it will surely help.

Sending love and light

UMA
Guest guest
Kalpana:

I'm sorry to hear you're going through a rough time. Hope things turn out better for you in the future.

Hating Hindus doesn't do a thing to the objects of your emotion...just builds up unhappy energy in you. I pray you don't carry this burden around with you too long. Replace it with love for your unborn child...and for yourself.

Namaste,

Blueray
