The uncle calls the nephew and said, "The workers

are like the jivatmas, and the house given to them is

the human body given by God for a stipulated period.

<br><br>1. Like the 1st worker, some people neither do

anything for themselves(soul), nor do they take care of

their body. In fact they damage the body by drinking,

smoking etc. When the time comes to leave the body, we

cannot take with us anything that belongs to the body.

In the case of the worker, the only thing that went

along with him is his reputation. Similarly, the only

thing that comes along with us is our karma. When we

earn bad karma, we suffer in our next or same

birth.<br><br>2. In the case of the 2nd worker, he did many good

things, but they were all for the house. He didn't do

anything for himself. Similarly, we do good karma, but

they are all for the body, and not for

ourselves(soul). In our next life, we get good comforts etc, but

we are still slaves to our body, mind and ego. We do

everything only to satisfy these 3 entities (like getting a

degree, getting a good job, having a good spouse and

children, buying a house, buying a car etc...).<br><br>3.

In the case of the 3rd worker, he utilised the

resources of the house wisely. Since the money is what he

earned, and does not belong to the house, he could take

it with himself. When he came out, be became his own

master. Similarly, when we utilise the resources of this

body wisely, by doing sadhna, we earn Jnana and/or

Bhakthi. That will follow us even to the next birth, and

will ultimately result in Liberation / Salvation /

Mukthi."<br><br>The uncle continues, " Hence, my dear nephew,

whatever you are enjoying now is only the result of your

past deeds. What are you doing for the future? You

have a wonderful HUMAN body. Don't waste the resources

you've got. Realise this truth and become LIBERATED!

".<br><br>The nephew, after hearing this, renounced the world

and became a Jivan Mukhta.<br><br>Hari Aum !!!
