Guest guest
Karma or god ....
A lot of enjoyment we recieve from thoughts, as all are in an imaginary world where all is perfect, we mould it to what we want it to be.Ok, knowing all this why do we still associate our selves to thoughts? Why want to stop it why not look at its root?
We realise( maybe) that they are thoughts, it is not a fact yet we remain there, we dwell in it, wallow in it and enjoy every moment. The mind needs a secure place and being the cunning thing that it is .. naturally it will chose the easy way out or the' happy' way out. to 'train it to look other way is a struggle yet not an impossibility. So, next is how....we ask ourselves the question ;how do we get our mind to know and observe it from a' no particular angle' view! Why is it when we see a sad movie we tend to have tears in our eyes? And we have nothing to do with whatever is happening in the T/V yet we cry or associate ourselves and get all teary eyed? We have not perhasp dealt with our sorrow? The stained glass always has a positive connotation but what we dont look is the 'stains' that we have created so that our'vison' looks perfect. What is this Perfect vision we are aiming at? Is there such a thing? K says It is a mirror.. yes it IS a mirror, but why are we afraid to look at ourselves? The ugly person, the violent person that we may be will show ..right?
The stained glass is the thoughts, the pond..not the pebble that was thrown nor the ripples, it is there ...are we wilingly looking at it? All thoughts conjured up by mind is beautiful, nice, touching but is it the truth? Usually is it not as what is actual is not appealing thus we continue our thoughts, I am not saying leave all thoughts ... the point is can we see it for what it is? Because if we can then ..thats it it may be there it may not be there but master and slave is gone..all are at ground zero. Then we can se the roots of fear and pain . when we look at the tree we look at its fruits now turn and look at its roots.
Then even if we still have these thoughts , no more does it pose a danger to us, no more is it allowed to cloud the truth.
The stained glass... we can still look at it but what do we see? The motifs or the glass or what is beyond the glass? And what Is beyond this glass?
NOw i ask all in this club and i want you all to give an answer if possible, i have tried this on my twins .....if i am standing directly in front of you and hold up my hand with all five fingers stretched.. I ask you ..please tell me what do you see? ( This is not a trick question I have asked my students this same question.
thank you.
regards
Guest guest
Your face and ten fingers. Do not focus on the problem but focus on the solution.

{Patch Adams movie taught me this one.)

from,
D. C. L.
Guest guest
All too often we seem to look at the problem and magnify it, what now we saw the soluiton along with it? Would it still be a problem? The change comes then form the individual, form within the invidual. WE see life thoruhgt a 'stained glass' and rarely do we notice the stains gather .. we make 'flowery ' motifs out of it ..painting at better and better till such time we cant paint we put our brushes down and ask for help.
regards
