Guest guest
Dear Baba,

Thank you very much for sharing this valuable answer. This reminds us the importance of perseverance.

Perseverance goes against the natural tendency of the human mind, which is ‘to resolve and doubt’, i.e. to resolve and then have second thought. Hence, in spirituality there are many ‘beginners’ but only a few ‘finalists’.

This quality can be incorporated only with regular spiritual practice.

With love
Sanatan
Glenn-Sampada
Guest guest
Baba,

This was a very valuable message for me. I am a recovering addict, applying a Hindu perspective to a 12 Step Programme. Like all addicts in recovery, I constantly strive for improvement and freedom from the disease of addiction through increasing my spiritual well-being. What we all fear, however, is a slip, a fall, a relapse, a return to our addictive behaviours. These things happen, some would say they are an essential part of recovery, because after the fall, one is stronger than before, farther along the road we are travelling ... You post reiterates the central message of the 12 Steps.

Thank you for sharing that.

Padma x
