Message from Swami Sivananda

Blessed Self, members<br><br>This past weekend

was Thanksgiving in Canada (winter comes early here).

I spent the weekend along with about 10 other yoga

aspirants from Ottawa at the Sivananda Ashram in Val Morin,

Quebec.<br><br>In the midst of the sattvic atmosphere, it was a

shock to hear that the US had begun its rajasic/tamasic

bombing of Afghanistan. What a glaring example of the

differences between those three gunas.<br><br>I would like to

offer the following three poems by Swami

Sivananda:<br><br>I HAVE COME TO RECONCILE<br><br>I am a

peace-maker,<br>I have come to reconcile,<br>I belong to the

brotherhood of all,<br>I disseminate the message of love and

peace,<br>The message of unity and goodness.<br>I sing the song

of oneness,<br>The song of "Be good. do

good"'<br>The song of " Soham, Sivoham,<br>Satchidananda

Svarupoham".<br><br><br>RAM OR RAHEEM<br><br>Ram or Raheem is the same for

me.<br>Krishna or Kareem is the same for me.<br>God or Allah is

the same for me.<br>Ahur Mazda or Jehovah is the same

for me.<br>Christ or Krishna is the same for me.<br>I

accept and respect all saints and prophets.<br>I respect

all Gurus and friars.<br>I find Truth in all

religions:<br>Thus sayeth Sivananda.<br><br><br><br>I AM NEITHER

HINDU NOR CHRISTIAN<br><br>I am neither Hindu nor

Christian,<br>Neither Jew nor Hebrew,<br>Neither Mussalman nor

Parsee,<br>Neither Aiyer nor Ayengar.<br><br>I am not of the

East,<br>I am not of the West.<br>I am all-pervading

Immortal Soul,<br>I am Satchidananda

Brahman,<br>Existence, Consciousness, Bliss

very good specially ram n raheem and iam neither hindu

nor christian r excellent.i feel this is the first

stage of spiritualism . spiritualism is beyond

religion. there is only one god . this is the only appraoch

whcih is going to work in future and this way we can

fight with terrorism also because terrorism is nothing

only high level of fanatism
