Period.<br>It kills innocent men, women and children.<br>It leaves indelible impressions on the minds of <br>people who have been thru it.<br><br>War does not educate anyone or anything.<br>War is anti-civilisation, anti-humanity.<br><br>Maybe you have never been in a war.<br><br>Show me even a single war in the 3 milleniums since human civilisation has existed that was "compassionate" and "helped to put things in the right perspective"-whatever that means.<br><br>Maybe you would consider the war against Iraq as "compassionate", or maybe even the current 'war' is putting "things into the correct perspective", according to you.<br><br>Please don't deceive yourself and others.<br>Whatever the source of these statements might be, they are pure crap.<br><br>Also, don't deceive yourself that the causes of war are "anger, lust, hatred, jealousy, greed, frustration or aggression."<br>These are individual emotions-the causes of war are more social in nature.<br><br>Hope you find the "correct perspective".
