Swami Vivekananda called the world to the path of

spirituality at the World Parliament of Religions on September

the 11th, 1893. <br><br>His speech - "Sisters and

Brothers of America,..." inspires awe in the hearts of all

who can hear his message.

a declaration to the world, of the wonderful

doctrine preached in the Gita: 'Whosoever come to ME,

through whatsoever form, I reach him; all men are

Sectarianism, bigotry, and its horrible descendant, fanaticism,

have long possessed this beautiful earth. They have

filled this earth with violence, drenched it it often

and often with human blood, destroyed civilization,

Hmmm....by Jove, you are right, it is indeed an

interesting co-incidence.<br>I've seen several other

'co-incidences' floating around, but this is the first time I

heard this one.<br>It might be possible that those

evil-doers were aware of this.<br>They seem to have made a

very strong statement against religion and all of

humanity by their action.<br>They have driven the knife of

terror right thru the heart of everything sacred and

everything human.<br><br>Much as I don't agree with the

idealogy of religion and that of penance for religion, a

good speech is a good speech !!

Look at the the building- twin towers-they look like

number 11 from one angle. One can go on. <br><br>But,

better ]<br><br>I am not cynical in the broader

sense.<br>However, I am cynical when I hear people trying to find

answers 'in themselves'.<br>Answers do not lie in our

minds, just as questions do not arise in our

minds.<br>Questions, rather contradictions, arise in the real

world-the material world. And that is where they must be

resolved.<br>To change thought, it is necessary to change the

origins of thoughts.<br>Think about it-so much of our

consciousness is shaped by the kind of social relations that we
