Guest guest
Dear 'vidrohi' (rebel) bhaiyya, I am growing fond of you. You are very knowledgeble and as a student it is always good to associate with somebody who is versatile -not just 'pious and holy.' I felt sorry for HarI bhaiyya also. He was rather outspoken but basically had a child like innocenCe. LET me share something with you, bhaiyya. Young girls like me will avoid Hari bhaiyya on IM because he already says he is a 'womanizer' but what about all these other men on the net (in their early 40s and beyond ) claiming to be spiritual and what not. The first thing they do on seeing a young girl on the net they want to exchange pictures and telephone numbers. One of them is right here in this club posing as a SANT MAHATMA.
**************************************************
Pyare bhaiyya, it is strange you should mention that famous movie'shatranj ke khilari' directed by world famous SATYAJIT RAY. It is a beautiful movie just like all of ray's movies. Have you seen 'kabuliwala'. 'devi' and 'teen kanya'- all great movies. Ray was one of the few directors who captured the 'real essence' and 'fabric of indian society. '
-----------------

Bhaiyya, shakespeare said 'this world is a stage and we are all actors in it.' Religion is like chess between different players. Whoever knows how to make the best move wins. Same with politics. You see we are all 'pawns' to be moved around and are really puppets in the hands of 'orGanized;' religion and 'organized power politicians'

Bhaiyya, I also learned a lot about Kerala in your post. How do you explain 'female infanticide' and 'dowry system' and 'bride burning' etc. These are all important issues, Is it a person's fault that they are born a 'female' or is it a girl's fault that her parents can't give her 'dowry' ? hoW can 'hinduism' explain away female infanticide, 'bride burning' ..PLEASE don't explan it away by throwing the karma theory. 'my dogma runs over your karma' LOL....

Have you heard of 'phoolan devi? -the bandit queen who was recently murdered under suspicious circumstances? well . she used to say " folks, I was a bandit. That was my profession. But, what about all these corrupt politicians who are robbing the people day and night by taking bribes."

Bhaiyya, please do not leave. Stay , we need to know all sides of an issue. tHIS CLUB IS GETTING MORE AND MORE EXCITING. we are not here just to chat. we are here to 'thrash' out the issues and resove the conflicts.

Thank you, salaam!!! Parents prefer boys because they can work harder in the fields and also because if they have a girl, they will have to give a lot of dowry.
It is a shame on the Hindu religion. Far from working to remove it, the upholders of the religion have constantly encouraged and supported such practices.
It is only great workers like Raja Ram Mohan Roy and Gandhiji who have worked to remove it from society.

"Have you heard of 'phoolan devi? -the bandit queen who was recently murdered under suspicious circumstances? well . she used to say " folks, I was a bandit.
