Guest guest
Blessed OmPrem, greetings!

In the temple, they have arranged a guest speaker who comes and tells the story of 'Ramayana'. It is pretty interesting. I like the character of the 'Monkey God' -specially the part, where the monkey god is able to expand himself to infinite proportions and cross the ocean in one big leap. I also like the part where he makes himself so small that nobody is able to catch him. Also, when he sets the whole city on 'fire' with his 'burning tail.'

Your post on 'siddhis' explains these two phenomena of expansion and contraction. The monkey god used these two siddhis for a good purpose. But , so was he justified in using his siddhis? But, the speaker also said the demon king acquired many siddhis by praying to Lord shiva and he used these siddhis inappropriately?

Dear Omprem, who determines who deserves the siddhis and if so what are the limitations on their use?

Hari om!

dasa_hari
