Is this normal? The very same to you.<br>Yes, Diwali and Kali Puja do happen to fall normally on the same day - the first new moon (Amavasya) after Dusherra. Kali Puja is celebrated in Bengal on the day. Many others worship Goddess Lakshmi for wealth and prosperity.
