"aavaha" means to send invitation.We are seeking agni's help to invte the grace called lakshmi.
"Hiranyavarnaam" :
hiranys means gold. It originates from dhatu "harya" meaning to shineand "hri" meaning to captivate.gold is the best of dhatus due to it's lustre.Other metals belong to paarthiva(earth)category.But gold. due to it's shine,is classified under taijas(fire) category.Thus,indication here is f lakshmi being superior to other deities and as precious and beautiful as gold.
"harineem" :
means female deer.Deer is known for its golden lustrous complexion,and is extremely fast,unstable(chancala) and difficult to capture.Same applies to lakshmi.
In brahmavaivartha purana,is story : When shiva destroys daksha's sacrifice,yagnapurusha assumes the form of a deer and tries to run away, ut maha kala rudra holds him in his hand.Yagnapurusha is indeed vishnu(dharmasya prabhurachyuthaha....vide vishnusahasranaamam...uttara phala sruthi) and his vaishnavi shakthi is lakshmi, who is also of the frm of a deer asher eternalconsort. Also harini means one who resides in hari's heart.
It also indicates haridra or turmeric which is very sared to goddess. Devi is worshipped as durga, whose form is crafted in turmericroot.Thisis called haridraa gauri vratham(details in bhagavatha).This goddess is said to have given birth to the popular tantric form of ganesha called haridra ganapathi(whose details are in aakasha bhairava kalpa).
"suvarnarajatasrajaam " :
sraja means neckalce.she wears golden and silver neckalce.a nw lotus has reddish yellow and white hues. Thus here a lotus maala is also ndicated.This is well described in Lakshmihridaya of athrvanaveda. also, gold means vowels and silver consonants.Hence she wears akshamaala or a necklace of letters(maatrikaas),being the embodiment of all mantras.Thus Lalitha is righly called Maatrikaa parameshwari andsarvamantramayyee i nithya shodashikaarnava.

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
