Guest guest
" chandraam" :
this word arising from "chadi" dhatu, means to cause light, bliss or happiness.lakshmi shines like chandra(moon) and similarly makes one blissful with sacchidananda ghana rasa. Chandra is closely associated with devi worship.15 kalas of chandra are related to kameshwari and other tithi nithya deities . Ayushkara and other prayogas mentioned in kalpasutras(scriputre which hasa cannical status like vedas) prescribe worship of Lalitha Mahatripurasundari in thelunar orit or disc surrounded by the nithya deities.Though this is a bhouthika prayoga, its inner significance lies in meditation of the devis prakasha-vimarsha saamrasya maha paduka in the karnka of the 100 petalled lotus in sahsrara, mediattion carried out in dahara or chidakasha.
" hiranmayeem" : lakshmi has the svabhava(nature) and svarooap(form) of gold. Hiranya also means sacred. The great formless absolute with sisriksha(desire to create:become many) shines out the worlds, that are and were ever within herself.A mere reflection of the internal desire to create is seen as an external manifested universe, thanks to her glden lustre.
shiva is called hiranyaretas.hiranya means prakriti and hervarious transfrmations.Shakthi, who is responsilr for shiva's powers to crate, destroy, preserve etc is called hiranmayee, according to kalika purana.Ever in communion with this eternal parashakthi, parabrahma kameshwara becomes Hiranyaretas.
In Agastya maharshi's Sristava,he expalins the essence of this mantra:
knowledge or awareess in mind, light in sun, shine in moon, lstre in gold, butter in gold-- are all forms of the great mother. He seesmother as all this ad everything ;as the very attribute of anything and everything.
In this mantra shivaakshara. a bija of panchadashi brahmavidya is revealed through samketaaksharas. Ten sylabbled gajalkshmo or sarvasamrajya lakshmi can also be traced.

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
