Guest guest Posted November 26, 2001 Report Share Posted November 26, 2001 Once Lord Shiva and mother Paravati were strolling in Himalayas, when Parvati saw a man sitting and chanting lord shiva's name continuously and requesting,"O Lord Shiva please get me lottery prize..i am in dire need of money"<br><br> Mother parvati said to Shiva," Lord i have been watching this man for a long time..it is perhaps a period of 3 years that he is worshipping you to remove his poverty. Why dont you grant him this little boon, you cant be so cruel"<br><br> Lord Shiva said," Yes I know this man has been worshipping me for the last 3 years...but i granted him this boon last year. But to get the lottery money..he has to go to the city, purchase a ticket first...i am not going to do this for him.
