Guest guest
This is the story that I highlighted in the last chat. Since it benefitted the people in the chat, I'm narrating the story in detail below.

Arunagiri Naadhar
-------------------

In a small town near Arani, Tamil Nadu (TN), India, lived a businessman by name Chandramouli. He was well off, and he came to Thiruvannamalai, TN, on a business trip. There he met a lady by name Muthamma, who was a Devadasi (one who is sacrificed to serve the Lord in the temple). She belonged to Rudra kanikaiyar kulam (caste). Chandramouli married Muthamma, and they were very devoted to each other.

They had a girl first, and named her Aadhi. A few years later, in 1387 A.D. in the year of Prabhava, in the month of Purattaasi (Sept-Oct), on a Tuesday, on the Star of Uttara , Danusu Lagna, Simha Rasi, at 3 am, a beautiful baby boy was born. They named him Arunagiri.

Arunagiri was very tall, handsome and brownish in complexion. He had 6 fingers in his right hand. (probably to denote the 6 houses of Lord Kartikeya? )

When Arunagiri was 4 years old, his elder sister, Aadhi too was initiated, and she became a Devadasi. At about this time, his schooling began.

Sadly, in his life, when he was 1 year old, his grandmother died. When he was 6 years old, his mom left for heavenly abode. Before she died, she called Aadhi, and handed over Arunagiri to her. When Arunagiri was 7 years old, he lost his father too.

But these tragedies, didn't make him dull. He studied well. He learnt the Vedas, Siddhanthas, Thirukkural, Thirumanthiram, Thirumurugatrupadai etc. He also learnt Literature and the Puranas. He was also a man of principles and did Siva puja everyday.
