i have read the gita and no where did krishna say

that your past lives have any meaning towards or

spiritual porpuse to lead to freedom, krishna siad the main

difference bewen him and arjuna is that he cold rember his

past lives and that arjuna could not. he did not

instruct arjuna with any reference to past lives he told

him to go to the forest to practice asanaa and then

to practice the yoga art he taught him of the

sciecne of the pranava, that is what krishna told him to

do when arjuna asked him what is the best pat for

man ot take. no thing to do with past lives past

lives are oinly sense gratification episodes and being

wontonly lead arund by the mind and lust.

It is my thought that indeed past lives have very

much to do with lessons learned and future lessons to

be learned. We choose our lessons before we

incarnate in the physical plane and we work on those

lessons while we are here. No, there is no blueprint or

lesson plan we use, yes, we do "forget" when we are born

onto this plane, yes, it is our goal to "re-member".

It is all very individual in purpose and in belief.

You have your ideas and beliefs, others have theirs.

wwhat i am asking is not your opinoin on what you

personally think past lives are good for, i am asking what

does thesidhis and the ris's or the scritptures say

past lives have to do with atmavid or the path ot the

atma.
