Guest guest
Dear Silentsoul_55, I am also surprised to hear that a Higher Soul advised you not to indulge in Aum Sadhana and I also agree with KumarShankar that either the person is a fool or a rascal. But so far I know that without proper initiation chanting Aum may create serious problems. It has many good sides and has contradictory effects too. Actually AUM Sadhna leads the Sadhaka to higher levels of Sadhna. When it starts working then the Sadhaka is made free by the vibration of the Mantra - then the sadhaka really feels "who is his wife or who are his children" he stops caring for any one except for himself and his Sadhana. And usually leaves everything worldly. Becomes a real Sadhaka, a real Yogi either the worldly things leave him or he walks out of the Maya. I visited your website and find that you are great sadhaka. And a Sadhaka properly initiated has nothing to fear. There are some more restrictions imposed by the Conservative Gurus - that the Sadhaka should be guided by the strict religious dictums and must lead a good family life. If not the sadhaka before chanting the AUM should perform the Yagyas for Shanti Shastayan etc. In this context I thank Respected Sankarrukku for his Msg 3465 regarding Bija Mantras and agree that Mantra chanting may create severe problems. Any way this is a most interesting subject and I shall be glad to read more on this. joylopamudra , "kumarshankar2000" <kumarshankar2000> wrote: > Dear silentsoul_55, > > I am surprised to to find that a higher soul advised you not to > indulge in Aum Sadhana. Guest guest
DEar silentsoul_55, I am also surprised to hear that a hiher sould soul advised you not to indulge in AUM Sadhana and I agree with kumarshankar that either the person is a fool or a rascal. Guest guest
dear joylopmudra and kumarshankar, when I used the word "Higher Soul" i really meant by it and it implied that the person is no fool. As written by respected Sankarukku, there are many mantras which are very powerful and purgatory and that is why we have Guru system in India. A guru, who is a higher soul and knows the present circumstances and details of Karma of his disciple, initiates a Mantra , which really suits his present matrix of time, karma and prarabdha. If the disciple is in family-life and needs to do certain karma for his family, guru will certainly not initiate him into those Mantra which bring Vairagya from world...rather he will initiate him in a mantra which purifies slowly and gives power to enable him fulfil his duties as a house-holder. However, I have found that AUM is such a great Mantra that it is all in one, it is a Sagun Mantra, a Nirguna Mantra as well as a Beeja Mantra. Hence the results of AUM sadhna vary as per the viewpoint of the sadhaka how he takes this mantra. AUM too has very fierceful power of purifying, if done as Beeja or Nirguna Mantra...so much so that a common man is unable to stand the results of its purfication power. The purification work of AUM sadhna does not stop even if one stops japa of aum because once if imbedded properly into sub-conscious, it continues working on purification....a process which brings sorrows, tears, loses, emotional and physical turmoils in one's life. But what ever is taken from us on physical level is returned to us on spiritual levels..manifolds, hence the loses are not really loses but a blessing in disguise. But when we are in the turmoil of events, we care not the future and are concerned with our present woes.....I have in my last post asked this question...as to how to cope up with the turmoils...see what respected Sankar and others have to tell us.
