To all the members

Some of you seem to feel disturbed that their messages have been used

in my ongoing discussion with Omprem. I would like to assure them

that they are in no way responsible for what is happening. It was

brewing for sometime now. In fact it started the day I posted my

first message. So have a ringside seat and watch. Please scroll down

before deleting. I have a story and a message for you at the end.

Sri Omprem

You cannot drive me away. So it does not matter what you are

interested in.

If posting quotations from Swami Sivananda & Swami Vishnudevananda is

experience you have it in plenty. Straight lifts from books and cut &

paste messages do not make you experienced. You do not decide or

advise what I should post.

About the tone of my messages you agree that at least sometimes my

tone is to quote your own words "unctuous, fawning, obsequious,

almost servile."

But the tone of all your messages without exception is

one of "condescension, haughtiness and pomposity or

hostile, rude and dismissive."

You think you have become a great pundit by posting the quotations of

Swami Sivananda and bragging about your Gurus.

When I came on the scene and started posting messages which at least

to some extent reflected my experience you were afraid of losing your

self styled position of Pundit in both SEM and Sadhnaa clubs. Instead

of posting your own messages based on your experience, you had to

pick out holes in my messages. Except for straight lifts from books

have you ever posted any messages based on your experience?

I know that this is something which you have doing for a long time

so that anyone who posts an original message faces hostility,

rudeness from you. This way you drive out or silence the members whom

you feel are likely to challenge your self- styled position. Only the

founders of the club are exempted from this treatment as they have

the power to remove or ban you.

You are talking about fear, because you are afraid. The clubs are not

your Yoga school and the members are not your students. Members keep

quiet because of politeness. This you believe is Fear.

Look into your heart. What are you afraid of? You have knowledge and

experience of Hatha Yoga and many other subjects. You have had

excellent Gurus. You have contributed and should contribute to the

club. You do not like my messages. Delete them. Do not read them. But

I do think we agree about most of the subjects. I do not think either

myself or any other member is challenging your position. Do not fight

Windmills.

Conquer Fear.

There are many members who consider you as their Guru. Your messages

have benefited many. Change your attitude and you will find more

acceptance.

You always like to have the last word. So go ahead.

P.S

Our messages reflect badly on both our spiritual progress and our

Ego. I believe we have become the laughing stock of all the clubs.

To all the members

I think we could have increased our membership by having a popup

window with

" See the Big Fight between Sankarrukku and Omprem today. Third round

today. See message numbers... for first and second rounds. " You must

be really laughing your hearts out that two people who write about

Elimination of Ego have so much Ego. You know the joke about a fight

between two persons. Two persons were abusing each other. A third

person who was witness to this said " now that we all know who you

are, how about carrying on with other matters"

You must have heard the parable about two Sannyasins.

There were two Sannyasins living in adjacent huts. These were real

renunciates who had renounced everything in life and spent their

entire time in meditating. One morning they were seen fighting each

other. When asked it turned out that the fight was about the place to

spread their prayer mat. Since both of them wanted the same place

there was a fight.

So Folks. That is life.

May be the club phase of my life is slowly drawing to a close.

Sankar
