Thank you silentsoulji for your kind expressions (both offline and

online) of missing my presence. I apologize I haven't been of much

assistance lately.

 

I have been incredibly busy with a variety of things most

importantly, with my daughter's graduation and getting her ready for

going off to college. She is a leader of sorts, and mom of a leader

gets to be the pick-up lady. I am now faced with the letting my

child go into the world, and my philosophy of 'empowering children

with wings and letting them fly' will now get tested. All my family

are meditators, and yoga practitioners, exposed to the basic

Universal Spiritual Laws of nature as their foundation for life. Each

practice to different degrees and intensities. The seeds have been

sown. How they germinate is upto the Charioteer. While she is ready

to fly, MOM may not be ready to test this paradigm.

 

I am also headed out for a long trip, for more than 7 weeks, most of

which will be in India. Preparation for both, together with my work

keep me hopping and I haven't really been able to participate in

anything else.

 

I want to take this opportunity to thank you and our family members

for giving me this opportunity to serve as an assistant in the

moderation of this club.

 

I'm am specially delighted to see you, silentsoulji, back in full

form and can be now confident that the club is in good hands. Thank

you for sharing your extensive experience with us. We have a

beautiful group of sadhaks who have put together a collection of

information that is extremely valuable. In fact our old friend

Srigant would say, our club needs to be made a reference material for

all new sadhaks. We have a team of wonderful members and I want to

specially thank sankarukku, erica, s_v_c_s, hermitrus, angelina who

have patiently and actively helped us survive the storms of migration

and its woes. Erica, thanks for the initial assistance with the html

coding of our founders message, making the message look from ugly

(before) to sublime (after your handiwork). Now silentsoulji is

taking it to newer heights, with his multi talented personality. We

still need all kinds of assistance in archiving etc, and anyone who

feels they can lend some time, do feel free to contact our active

team of members.

 

I want to also thank those who participate in our chats regularly,

and encourage you to share your thoughts on the board. No one is

superior to anyone, our experiences may be different and we learn

from all. All ideas, thoughts and experiences are respected and I ask

you to remove the hesitation that you have expressed to me

personally, and join in.

 

I urge all our other members to jump in and make this one of the

best satsanghs ever, an example of what satsanghs can be in its ideal

form. We are in fact, a microcosm of the macrocosm of the real world,

brought together for a purpose. According to the laws of the Universe

only those who resonate with this ideal feeling of unity of purpose

choose to stay.

 

Yes, I am accused of being an idealist. I do like to hitch my wagon

to a star, and would rather be anchored to idealist behavior and

personal expectations of congruence between words and actions, than

to the pathetic so-called realism of ignorance and hypocricy. If I

hitch my wagon to a star, I may reach the top floor. My path is to

take responsibility for my actions, express my wishes and let my

Charioteer drive my chariot. Let HIM/HER/IT decide my path and what

scenic journey I set in motion through my desires.

 

My involvement for a while will be minimal, I will be here off and

on, and during my trips I will not have access to a computer. I will

of course certainly attempt to log in from cyber cafes in Delhi and

Kolkata, Rajasthan etc.
