"why bad things happen to good poeple"

In energy terms, my expereince is that when people participate in

either puja, meditation, bhajans or any spiritual activity, they are

setting forth their desire for raising of their consciouness.

According to their intensity, the result is that "GOD", the Universal

Intelligence, sets in place the journey needed for the attainment of

that desire, whatever it may be. "Good", "bad" is relative. In fact,

once on the path, all just "IS". All is MAA, Brahman, Krishna, or

Shiva, Christ as the case may be. Nothing is good and bad anymore.

 

Even the psuedo-spiritualists, the blind theorists or ritualists, the

text-parrots, the analysts analysing the anatomy of the devas and

devis, the fraudulent sadhus or the Fake gurus, those who take the

million names of devas and devis and don't come remotely close to

living a sattvic life, ALL are forced into a journey of purification,

cleansing, purgatory, (whatever term one prefers using) to clear the

pathway to the desire. A different journey perhaps, but one that is

leading them to the Ultimate. THAT, is the beauty of this journey. No

one can escape it.

 

That is why one says, be careful what you ask for, you may get it. In

spite of our attempts at sabotaging our own journey, we are still led

HOME. Tat twam asi
