"Suffering sublimates. Sieves the human consciousness; elevates it to

a higher pedestal. Suffering is obvious in the order of existence.

An inescapable fact to be reckoned with. But for differences in

degree no one seems to be an exception to it. Every being has some

measure of it whether perceptible or not."

 

"Suffering is nothing to be abhorred. Suffering too is Godly. A

sculpture should suffer the chisel to gain its beauty. Like wise man

undergoes suffering for purging the soul. It is a process of

elevation from within."

 

"Suffering arises only because of a choice for having one's own way.

But providence rarely conforms to individual volition. The expected

does not come forth but the ordained cannot be escaped. In the

cosmic system of totality, individual choices are of little

relevance. When the expectations are belied, human beings are

disillusioned. They suffer the privation."
